Although we often don’t think of the winter as a time of abundance, there are still many wonderful cold season crops and storage crops to tide us over! Think hearty soups and stews made with winter squashes, onions, and potatoes.

Don’t forget the hardy greens, like kale and escarole, that fill our salad bowls with plenty of nutrients.
