Hey, there! Welcome to Milk Glass Home!

This is a slow living blog focused on helping people learn how to cook from scratch and be more self-sufficient. You’ll find lots of posts about cooking from scratch, gardening, and living with the seasons.

My goal is to help people take a step away from consumer culture and reclaim old-fashioned skills, which will help them eat better, feel more connected to nature, make the most of the things they already have, and reconnect with the past.

I love to collaborate! There are several ways we can work together, and I’ll go over all of those here.

Brand Collaboration & Sponsored Posts

Are you the representative of a company? I’m very selective about the brands I work with and generally only recommend brands that fit at least several of these values or traits.

We prefer products & brands with these traits:

  • Plastic-free or low-waste products
  • Refillable packaging
  • Made to last/buy it for life
  • Lifetime warranties
  • Made in the US
  • Incorporate recycled materials
  • Biodegradable and compostable
  • Fragrance-free or naturally scented with essential oils
  • Small businesses or B Corps
  • FairTrade
  • Organic
  • Handcrafted
  • Locally made or artisan-quality
  • Non-toxic
  • Carbon-neutral shipping & packaging

I’m always looking for brands that simplify life for my readers, and I’m always interested in working with brands that get it and are made to last. No unitaskers or junk that will end up in the landfill next month!

If you have a brand you want us to review, include in a round-up, or share on social media, please reach out via the Contact page or email milkglasshome @ gmail.com. Media kit available here.
