With heaps of fresh fruits and berries at the ready, summer is a baker’s dream. Just grab a few pantry essentials to create countless types of cookies, cakes, cobblers, and more. These summer baking recipes are worth heating up the kitchen!

Although I know it gets almost too hot to bake during the height of summer, there are plenty of recipes worth turning the oven on for. And personally? There’s nothing better than a scoop of warm cobbler with freezing cold ice cream to mark the end of a nice day.
As an avid gardener who used to run a farmer’s market and even work on local farms, summer is my favorite time of the year to be a baker. There are just so many different flavors to choose from!
I love coming home with a case of this or that and quickly turning it into jams, muffins, and more.
Whether you’re looking for something for a picnic or potluck or to make the most of your garden harvest, I’ve got plenty of choices for you to consider! (Plus, this is a living list, meaning I’m actively updating it with more summer dessert recipes as they’re published.)
