In a clear jar, add 2-3 tablespoons of organic dried lavender.
Cover the dried lavender with the liquid honey.
Allow the mixture to set out of direct sunlight for at least a few days. Be sure to shake, stir, or flip the jar daily to keep the lavender evenly distributed.
Once the mixture is ready, strain out the lavender buds and store the honey in an airtight jar.
Notes
Allow the mixture to rest for at least a few days up to two weeks. Once you like the taste, strain out the lavender buds to make the honey easier to consume.Store the honey out of direct sunlight and turn or shake the jar often.Feel free to add less lavender or more depending on your taste. I prefer combining just 2 tablespoons and find that the honey smells like lavender after just one day. It takes about a week for the flavor to fully develop.
