DIY Toilet Spray
Learn how to make an odor-locking DIY toilet spray just like Poo Pourri for pennies. This recipe is simple and you may even have all the ingredients on hand!

- 1 tbs vegetable glycerin
- 1 tbs rubbing alcohol or vodka

- 1/3 cup water
Instructions
- Add the glycerine, rubbing alcohol, and essential oils to the bottle.
- Add water until the bottle is full.
- Shake and spray 2-3 times in the toilet bowl.
Notes
If you have problems with your spray bottle dispensing, you may need to reduce your recipe to 1 teaspoon of both glycerine and alcohol. This would require you to spray more for scent coverage, but it may help the liquid move through the spray nozzle.
If you want more scent coverage than this offers in the recommended 2-3 sprays, please spray more.
Feel free to experiment with your favorite essential oil blends! There are scent combinations above.
This recipe doubles easily, so feel free to add twice as much to a 4 oz bottle. You may not need double the amount of essential oils, so you might want to try with 30 drops of oils instead of adding 40. If you want more fragrance, add more!
