Seasonal living is one of the most powerful ways of thinking you can incorporate in your life! As someone who has struggled with anxiety and depression my whole life, the only time I feel truly balanced is when I’m living with the seasons.
What does that look like?
– Spending significant time in nature
– Eating seasonal produce
– Growing my own food
– Shopping at farmers markets and connecting with local farmers
I see seasonal living as an essential branch of the tree of slow living, which focuses on being present, eliminating distractions, and living with our values.
For those of us who feel deeply drawn to nature, seasonal living and slow living are fantastic ways for us to reprioritize that essential connection to the natural world and tune out the things that distract us from that relationship at other times.
It’s a powerful practice to cultivate, and the posts below will give you insights or tips so you can do so successfully.
