Around the Table Farm
Around the Table Farm is a market farm that has been selling at local farmers markets for the past 11 years! They have wonderful produce and offer a variety of CSA options priced with a sliding scale to ensure fresh food is accessible at any income level. They also sell custom farm-raised flowers under the name Draft Power Flowers.

Blackjack Valley Farm
Karen has been raising cows her whole life. She is known for selling excellent quality grass-fed beef and raw milk. You can follow her on Facebook for updates or reach out to her directly to order half or whole cows & pigs.

Full Tilth Farm is a small farm known for their amazing berries and vegetables grown using sustainable farming methods that enhance the soil and protect the farm ecosystem. They are regulars at the Poulsbo Farmers Market, sell on Kitsap Fresh, and have multiple CSA options to help you find the right one for you!

Pheasant Fields Farm has been a family farm for over 115 years! They grow plant starts, sell fresh produce, and even have a custom farm tool they sell!

Sunny Knoll Farm

Wildwood Hollow Farm
Wildwood Hollow is a newer Kitsap farm producing some of the finest pastured eggs and microgreens! They offer delivery for their products too, which can make it a very convenient way to eat farm-fresh food regularly.

Winter Creek Farm
Farmed on just about an acre of land, Winter Creek Farm produces way more food than you’d ever expect! Their vegetables are absolutely delicious and always perfectly fresh. Be sure to look for them at the Poulsbo Farmers Market each Saturday!

Online Farmers Markets
Kitsap Fresh is an online farmers market that helps you shop at 40+ different local farms at the same time! They have a weekly ordering window and then on Wednesdays, you can pick up your order at a drop-site near you or have it delivered directly to your house!
Fresh Food Revolution is also an online farmers market that covers part of Kitsap County and further south into Key Peninsula and Mason County. Like Kitsap Fresh, you’ll be able to find local farmers and pick up from them all at a convenient drop-site!
Resources for backyard homesteaders & future farmers
Did you know there is a mentorship program for small farms in Kitsap County? It is hosted through the WSU Extension office and connects future farmers with some of the best local farmers in the county!
WSU Kitsap County Extension Master Gardeners is a wonderful way to learn about growing a wide variety of plants in our specific local conditions! You can often find these folks set up at farmers markets answering questions to develop their knowledge of gardening. You don’t need to be a farmer to join! They’ve even been hosting vegetable gardening classes online via Zoom.
Peninsula Fruit Club is a Kitsap-based chapter of the Western Cascade Fruit Society. They are the perfect people to go to about your fruit trees & berries! They also have a few events, like their grafting shows and fruit shows. They even host educational classes as part of their regular meetings.
Kitsap Peninsula Mycological Society is an absolute gem for mushroom enthuasists! They host educational classes and even run forays into the woods. If you’re even remotely interested in mushrooms, you need to check them out.
West Sound Beekeepers Assocation hosts classes for new beekeepers and can even help you find people to remove a swarm. They’re a great resource for people looking to add some hives to their backyard homestead.
Organizations Supporting Local Food in Kitsap County
Kitsap Community Agricultural Alliance (KCAA) is an organization that connects small farmers in Kitsap County!
Kitsap Grown is a website run by the Kitsap Farmers Market Alliance, which is part of KCAA. The Kitsap Grown website will has a map of local farms & farmers markets. They also offer a farmers market application that farms and related businesses can use to apply to 5 Kitsap markets at once!
Local shops that sell Kitsap grown food
Kitsap Community Food Co-op is a wonderful place to find locally raised meats, dairy, eggs, flowers, and produce! They support a variety of local businesses and have a robust bulk bin store for zero waste shopping.
You can pay to become a member of the co-op, which allows you to vote in their annual meeting and be involved in your local food system. They also offer bulk buying discounts for members to help make stocking up even more affordable.
They are located in Bremerton, near downtown.

Town & Country is a local chain of grocery stores with large storefronts in Poulsbo and Bainbridge Island. They often sell produce from Washington farms, although they typically source from larger farms instead of the smaller ones we have in Kitsap. They do have a great bulk food selection to help you shop zero waste!

Azure Standard is an Oregon-based company that delivers a wide variety of organic and sustainable foods at drop sites around Kitsap County! I love using them for their pantry staples like oatmeal and flour because you can buy in bulk for a better price and they use paper packaging.
